Seasonal hot tub care in Spokane

Inland Northwest freezes are hard on plumbing and heaters. A failed sensor at 2 AM can become a burst line by morning. We help you winterize, restart, and season-check hot tubs and swim spas—plus stock the chemicals and covers that match our local water.

Before the freeze

Winterization checks, cover condition, freeze-protection settings, and filter plans so a cold snap does not empty your spa onto the patio. If you are shutting down for travel, we walk the steps that keep lines and equipment safe.

Spring and summer

Startup visits, water chemistry reset after a long shutdown, and tune-ups before peak soaking season. Bring a water sample any time for a free second opinion after fill or shock.

Covers and chemicals for the season you are in

A worn cover wastes heat all winter. Scale preventatives matter more when Spokane water sits hot for months. We stock covers, filters, and care products so seasonal advice matches what is on the shelf.

Pools: education, not a route truck

Pool openings and closings: we coach you in-store and supply chemicals. We do not run weekly pool routes. Hot tub and swim spa mechanical service is a phone call away.

How it works

  1. Call before a deep freeze or spring fill
  2. We schedule a check or walk you through a DIY checklist
  3. Leave with filters, chemicals, or a cover plan that fits the season

“I've had my spa for over 7 years now—I still love love love it. I get my swim on any time of the year and it's in great condition still like new because it's great quality.”

Common questions

Should I winterize or keep the spa running?

Depends on use and equipment. Call with your setup—we will help you choose freeze protection versus a full winterization path.

Do you open backyard pools in the spring?

We educate and supply—bring a sample and we walk opening chemistry. We do not dispatch for onsite pool openings.

When should I replace my spa cover?

If it no longer seals, holds water on top, or feels soft in the core, you are paying to heat the yard. Ask us to check fit for your model.

Can I combine seasonal care with a water test?

Yes—bring a sample when you stop in. Free testing pairs well with spring startups and mid-winter cloudy water.

Hard water is a silent
heater killer.

Spokane-area water can run hard—minerals that taste fine in a glass but leave scale on heaters, jets, and shells when left alone.

Our spa maintenance guidance uses scale preventatives suited to local mineral profiles. For pools, we educate you on balancing in-store—plus a free water test any time you want a second opinion.
